OK, something new

Today I installed Drupal for my new CMS for rh-tech.org ... let's see if I can get into it ... I liked SMF but it either had too many restrictions or none ... once on the internet I was a spam target ... people who should have been able to get in couldn't because I had to stop the spammers ...

Slowly I'm going to move the posts/articles from my old site here ... hopefully that won't take too long.

"Fatal error: Out of memory ..."

So I just had Drupal crash the same way as SMF ... a memory error uploading an image, what that does is it makes the post unaccessible, when you attempt to access it you get an error. I disabled the (embedded) image module and it's back, I am able to access the 'affected' post, SMF didn't give the same type of error message, the post just ended up unaccessible ... so now I understand what happened with SMF. I guess I need to contact my hosting company and have them tell me I have to spend more money for a better package that supports a php driven website.

OK, it's back working ...

With Drupal the images have real filenames and were easy to find ... I deleted the image that caused the problem which was right at the image size limit ...

I've attempted to allocate more php memory but will it work ???
